#StopHatredNow 2021

Tools for inclusive, anti-racist and feminist action

#StopHatredNow is an intercultural and anti-racist platform organised in collaboration with several art and intercultural organisations. The platform strives to create discourse on diversity, inclusivity, power structures, otherness, and intersectionally feminist strategies. The event is is aimed at individual artists, cultural influencers, and institutions of art and culture, but anyone interested in the topics is welcome.

This year’s #StopHatredNow strives to find ways of coming together and to actively dream about future – anti-racist, feminist and diverse – horizons. How does one continue to dream norm-critically in the middle of a crisis? How can this crisis become a chance for change, a chance to re-negotiate old and tired structures? This year the event focuses on community, youths, organisation and questions regarding responsibility. The goal is to empower others so that even in the midst of a crisis, people continue to have the strength to actively dream and create horizons of hope.

The event is produced in collaboration with Caisa, the City of Helsinki, Culture for All, Globe Art Point, Goethe-Institut Finnland, Interkult ry, New Theatre Helsinki, Punos ry, Uniarts Helsinki, UrbanApa, and Zodiak – Center for New Dance.
