A sharing, a demo, a discussion, an outcome – Aarni Pieski’s residency period for UA Miniresidencies culminates in a public event in Liisa Pentti +Co’s studio where he shares some of his process and work. Free admission!
During his residency, Pieski works with a play and a film script. The texts focus, among other things, on time, afterlife, trauma, neuroticism and relationships from a queer and indigenous perspective. For the public demo, Pieski has collected some scenes from the film script he is working on. Actors Alen Nsambu and Jan Haapanen will be reenacting the work, and Klaudia Jokela will give directoral support.
